Financial Planning Managers

Based in one of our branches, you will provide clear, objective advice to our customers on savings, investments, pension plans and insurance. You will aim for a full appointment book each week, giving you maximum opportunity to tell them about the benefits of our wide range of financial products. Helping each customer choose the one that's right for their individual needs, you will build strong, trusting relationships - we want people to feel comfortable coming back to you for advice again and again.

Your time in the services will have helped you develop many of the skills you need to succeed here. Such as the ability to get your point across clearly and a flair for thinking on your feet. It's also important that you can plan and prioritise your time effectively. Positive and resourceful, you should be able to balance competing demands - to sell while delivering outstanding customer service.

Mortgage Managers

Talking both to new and existing customers, you will help them find the mortgage package that suits them best. Much of your time will be spent in face-to-face interviews within a branch, but you will also proactively make telephone contact with potential sales prospects.

You will focus on developing strong customer relationships, building up knowledge of each person's wider financial planning needs and making referrals to other areas within the bank where those needs can be met. Your involvement doesn't finish once a sale has been made. You will keep in regular contact with your customers, checking that they are happy with their products and keeping an eye out for additional referral possibilities (opportunities).

Used to thinking on your feet, you should be someone who remains calm under pressure. The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a wide range of people is a must. You should also be strongly self-motivated and have a real determination to achieve your targets.
